Physical compositions of solid waste in Wonju, Gaeun apartment area were investigated with combustibles 88.54%(food and vegetables 32.87%, papers 28.76% etc.) incombustibles 11.46%(glass and ceramics 7.30%, metals 2.73% etc.) in summer 1989, and solid waste in Myeongryun apartment area were characterized with combustibles 49.55%(food and vegetables 29.67%, papers 12.46% etc.) and incombustibles 50.45% (ash of briquet 46.88% glass and ceramics 1.19% etc.)
Water qualities of a leachate from municipal landfill of Wonju city were analyzed pH 6.4 ~ 6.5, BOD 20,540~21,470 mg/l COD 1,520~1,615 mg/l, NH_(3-)N 345~452 mg/l and PO_(4-),P 13~65mg/l. And also n-Hexane and ethylacetate extracts were obtained 25~45mg/l and 25~125 mg/l.
Doses of the n-Hexane extract for 30% and 50% cholinesterase activity inhibition were 0.18~0.25mg/ml and 1.35~1.63mg/ml, ethylacetate extract were 0.60~1.02mg/ml and 1.40~1.50mg/ml.
